Lewis-Palmer becomes Colorado’s first Trillion high-speed network customer.

AUSTIN, TEXAS – APRIL 21, 2004 – Trillion is announcing the commencement of a high-speed wireless broadband network and Internet access for the Lewis-Palmer school district, which supports the towns of Monument and Palmer-Lake, Colorado.  This network is the first operational network in Colorado resulting from Trillion’s expansion to several western states.  Trillion constructed and implemented a broadband wireless backbone interconnecting the district’s schools and administration offices providing a high-speed connection to the Internet.  Trillion’s service is integrated with email, network routing, content filtering and firewall services.

This bandwidth has enabled us to consolidate the servers for 8 schools to a centralized location.  This allows us to quickly and efficiently back up our servers for schools across town where previously we had to physically travel to the school location.  The cost and productivity time savings have been tremendous, allowing us to focus more on faculty and student services.”
